About Dr. Timothy Yates - Endovascular Surgeon
Dr. Timothy Yates is a Nebraska native who completed his undergraduate B.A. in Spanish with a minor in music (voice/guitar). Of note, he spent his senior year of college at the University of Málaga, Spain, where he became fluent in Spanish language and interpretation, as well as studied classical and flamenco guitar. He then completed the postbaccalaureate premedical program at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
He returned to Nebraska for medical school at the NE College of Medicine where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha with high distinction. He completed radiology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach and his Vascular & Interventional Radiology fellowship at the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute at Baptist Hospital in Miami.
Now in practice, he specializes in critical limb ischemia and limb salvage in diabetic foot. He also specializes in the management of deep vein thrombosis and Interventional oncology for the management of hepatic tumors. He has been active in medical societies through talks and social media and advocates using these platforms for improving medical education. He is also an avid photographer, owner of a studio with his brother. Finally, he is the proud father of three beautiful girls and husband to his wife Erika.
